Whether it’s for an internship, a job, or a graduate program, you might feel a bit anxious about stepping into this new arena. The good news? The same skills that make you a great athlete can also make you a standout candidate in interviews.

Here’s how to channel your athletic mindset into interview success:

1. Prepare and Practice Like It's Game Day

Just like you wouldn’t show up to a game without training, you shouldn’t go into an interview unprepared. Research common interview questions and practice your responses. Consider doing mock interviews with a coach, mentor, or friend. If possible, record yourself answering questions to refine your delivery and confidence.
